It was Saturday and like most Saturdays, I go to the Farmer’s Market for only one thing.

Cilantro and Jalapeño Hummus!!!!! It’s so good. It’s been a few weeks since I gone, but the guy that sells it still remembers me. =] I usually have this and pita bread for breakfast. Since I haven’t gone in the past weeks, I been going to class hungry, but NOT ANYMORE. =]
After a quick breakfast, it was time to head out to No Junk. It was a rummage indie type of junk sale. I don’t think it was my crowd, but I sell where ever I can. Can’t be picky now. I had to improv my little section. I didn’t want to bring a lot of set up things because I walked there so I did what I could.
Well as the day progressed, it had it’s fair share of hipsters. =]
and it’s hipster type of things. I like hipsters and hipster type things. However, I can’t pull the hipster off quite as well as they can. I was feeling a little out of place, but it’s okay. The DIY Art and Craft community showed up and it was all good. If you don’t know what DIY Art & Craft is, it’s a club I helped co-found this year. I’m co-president. =]
Here’s Monster Latin. DIY’s Secretary and my go-to girl whenever I need a girl actor. haha.
Here’s the other co-president, Hannah, otherwise known as Dearlace. =] Fellow artist, great crafter, and amazing poet.
Here’s Caron (A Cranberry Creation). I saw and thought she was familiar and then it hit me! Well, someone told me anyways that she showed up at one of our meetings. She sells mouse earrings. =]
Maivy from Maivy in the Park. She organizes events in the park, therefore Maivy in the Park. =]
Here’s another Hannah (Roughgems). She sells vintage kind clothes. Vintage means used, but it sounds so much better. I use it now. =]
This is Linda. I have our headbands I was selling for her. I been meaning to give them back, but never got the chance too. The day I was packing up getting ready, I found them in my bin and went oh, I won’t need this. I took it out and then saw her selling at No Junk and went DARN IT!
Emily from KUCI. She’s been coming to our meetings from the very beginning when we really had no clue on what we were doing. She can’t make the meetings now. Sadness.
Other than just sitting around and snapping pictures of everyone like a crazy person, I went for the free pile. Along the way to No Junk, I was talking to my girlfriend about get a bell to put on my dolly. Then I can be like the ice cream man with his cart. It would be so awesome and guess what? I found a free bell!
I didn’t stay as long because I had to run errands, but before that, I sold a few shirts. Here’s Maivy again. She bought my last Nonapus design in teal. No more shirts are going to be printed with that design ever again. It’s been a couple months, but it’s now sold out and a collector’s item. Wooooo. Mission accomplished.
Right when I was packing up to leave, this guy, I think is name is Brad, started looking at my stuff. I told him I print my own shirts, make my own tags and so on. I really put a lot of love into what I do. I don’t do a good enough job trying to sell them to people, but when I do, people usually feel the love. I guess he felt it too and decided to join the mrtigerrr club. =]
Sometimes stores don’t let picture take photos, so I had to be sneaky about this one. It’s one of my favorites. Look at that! It’s huuuuuge.
still going strong,
mrtigerrr
Nice! I don’t mind an educational article once in a while! They don’t all need tobe so serious ;-P … I sit all day at work in front of a computer and I need something to keep me awake and entertained, lol. Thanks again. Cheers
